Back in March of 2024, 1,200 REA Group customers from across the country came together at Ready24, raising $400,000 for organisations working to end homelessness.
The money raised was divided between 4 organisations that work tirelessly to support those who are experiencing, or who are at risk of, homelessness.
Launch Housing was one of these organisations.
They deliver homelessness services and life-changing housing support to disadvantaged Victorians. They’re committed to creating lasting societal change and helping those in need.

The $100,000 Ready24 donation was used to support Launch Housing Parachute Fund, which provides immediate financial assistance to help women and children at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness.
The fund provides immediate financial assistance through covering essential expenses to maintain or establish safe and secure housing.
Many of the families who access the Parachute funds have been affected by family violence, and the flexible funds allow frontline staff at Launch to respond quickly, providing anything from white goods to rental assistance, needed to make a fresh start.
Caroline Lynch, Service Manager Women Services, Launch Housing commented:
“Every day, we see the real impact of these funds—whether it’s helping a woman cover rent and bond to secure a new home after leaving our crisis accommodation, clearing overdue bills for a fresh start, or purchasing a bunk bed so a mother can create a home for her children, as clients often have very little after experiencing homelessness.
“By the time they reach us, these women have already been through so much, so being able to offer this support means the world to us.
“We are grateful to help them take these vital steps forward, and none of this would be possible without the support received thanks to Ready24!”
Launch Housing returns as a Community Partner for Ready25.
