Simone Biles

As a world champion, three-time Olympian and force for change, Simone Biles’ inspiring story is a testament to the power of vulnerability, resilience and hard work.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest of all time (often called ‘The GOAT’), she is the most decorated gymnast in US history, with 30 World Championship medals, and 11 Olympic medals, 7 of which are gold.

She has single-handedly redefined what’s possible in a sport that demands perfection – with five gymnastics moves named after her.

Following her withdrawal from several events at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 to prioritise her mental health, Biles sparked a global conversation and forever changed the narrative about mental health in sports.

She then went on to win 3 gold and 1 silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Biles is the youngest recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, has been named one of Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People, as well as the Sports Illustrated 2024 Sportsperson of The Year.

She is an ambassador for Friends of the Children and uses her global platform to advocate for change and support initiatives that provide education and assistance for children and young adults associated with adoption, foster care, and overall wellness.
